Prominent US experts Patti Scott and Dave Hasbury are coming to Zagreb in March to share their knowledge and experience in person-centered planning. We are looking forward to welcome them in the professional development training with the management staff from the Centre for Rehabilitation Zagreb and the Centre for Rehabilitation Stančić.
This program is primarily designed for staff who work with persons with intellectual and/or combined disabilities. Participants learn about the person-centered approach and relationship-building, acquire skills for facilitating the process of person-centered planning and graphically present the process by applying the planning tools MAPs (Making Action Plans) and PATH (Planning Alternative Tomorrows with Hope). Upon completion of the program participants will acquire the basic skills to facilitate the process of person-centered planning using MAPs and PATH techniques.
Patti and Dave are from Neighbours Inc., an organization that supports people with disabilities and their families in designing lives for themselves within their local towns and neighbourhoods. CAE Validus and the Association for Promoting Inclusion are proud to have worked with Neighbours Inc. over many years and look forward to welcome Patti and Dave once again to Zagreb.
