We are happy to inform you that CAE Validus will be organizing a three-day capacity building course on Person-Centered Active Support. The training will be held from February 4-7. Training will be provided by Julie Beadle Brown, who is a professor at La Trobe University and the University of Kent, in Canterbury, UK. She has been working in the field of intellectual and developmental disabilities for almost 20 years.
The goal of the training is to support participants in developing community-based services for people with intellectual disabilities within the project “Interactive training for Person-Centered Active Support”. The training will be focused on active support as a way of helping people with intellectual disabilities to engage in meaningful activities and relationships as active participants.
