During March and April of 2014, CAE Validus is conducting a new professional 134-hour training for Helpers to people with intellectual disabilities (PID) in supported housing. The Croatian Employment Service sent two groups of participants to acquire these competences. They are the future public-service employees of the Centre for the Rehabilitation Zagreb and the Center for Rehabilitation Stančić. The training is implemented within the project “Transformation and deinstitutionalization of the Rehabilitation Centre Stančić and Rehabilitation Center Zagreb”, with the financial support of Open Society Mental Health Initiative. Upon the completion of the training program, the participants will begin working in their supported housing service.
