The Director of CAE Validus participated at the Conference on Person Centred Planning

The Director of the CAE Validus, Slavenka Martinović, participated at the 4th Conference on Person Centred Planning (PCP) of German speaking PCP network in St. Gallen (Switzerland) and Bregenz (Austria) March 12-14, 2015. The conference was organized by several organizations, institutions and foundations from Austria, Switzerland and Germany. The creators of numerous methods in person centered planning, with years of experience in this field – Jack Pearpoint and Lynda Khan from Canada participated at the conference alongside numerous guest lecturers. More than 300 participants attended the conference.

The aim of the conference was to introduce the participants to person centred planning, exchange experiences and develop new ideas in this area. The conference was intended for all persons including persons with disabilities, who are interested in learning about person centered planning.

Slavenka Martinovic lead a workshop on “The role of Person Centred Planning in deinstitutionalization in Eastern Europe” among 23 other workshops. The workshop was attended by significant number of participants who showed great interest in the model of organized housing service developed by the Association for Promoting Inclusion.
