On May 11th and 12th 2015 CAE Validus carried out the second workshop in professional training on “Person-Centered Planning – Creating a Better Future for People with Disabilities”.
Second workshop was focused on presenting the MAP’s of participants which were done as part of practical training. Furthermore, two interesting topics were presented: facilitation skills and strategies for supporting the development of relations with members of the community. The workshop had the aim to exchange personal experiences, thoughts and concerns of participants they have faced during the facilitation process of person-centered planning. Joint discussions have helped them clarify certain parts in order to assure successful practical implementation.
Representatives of the Centre for Rehabilitation Zagreb, Centre for Rehabilitation Rijeka, Home for Mentally Ill Adults Turnić, Centre for Inclusion and Support in the Community Pula, Centre for Inclusion and Social Services in Bjelovar, Association for Autism – Zagreb and the Association for Promoting Inclusion participated in the two-day workshop. The workshop was led by Bojana Rozman Ph.D., Rene Petrovic and Slavenka Martinovic.
This workshop has finalized the first module of training on person centred planning.
