On June 29th and 30th 2015 CAE Validus carried out the third workshop in professional training on “Person Centred Planning – creating a better future for people with disabilities”.
The third workshop was focused on practicing the roles in facilitating the process of person centred planning using a planning tool PATH. Using this technique, the participants had the opportunity to experience the planning of concrete steps and actions that will enable the person to achieve their desired goals in order to achieve their ideal future.
Representatives of the Centre for Rehabilitation Rijeka, Home for Mentally Ill Adults Turnić, Centre for Rehabilitation Zagreb, Centre for Inclusion and Support in the Community Pula, Centre for Inclusion and Social Services Bjelovar, Association for Autism – Zagreb and Association for Promoting Inclusion participated in the training.
In this four-day module we practiced person centred planning using a planning tool PATH. This tool provides precise planning of steps in order to accomplish positive and feasible goals. These goals help a person how to acchieve his/her vision of the future.
