On September 21st 2015, CAE Validus started the training for Helpers to persons with intellectual disabilities in organized housing for a group of 30 participants in Rijeka. The training consists of 134 hours (94 hours of theory with workshops and 40 hours of hands-on training). The participants are the staff of Centre for Rehabilitation Rijeka and “Izvor“ – Centre for the Community Services Provision, Selce. “Izvor” is completing the process of transformation from institutions into community service provider and some of the staff has decided to join our training in order to change their jobs. The official certificate will be given upon the completion of this training program and the final exam.
We are wishing all participants a lot of success in acquiring new skills and knowledge to create positive change in the lives of people with intellectual disabilities.
