During November 9-12, 2015, CAE Validus started the new cycle of professional training on “Person Centered Planning – creating a better future for people with disabilities”.
CAE Validus continues to conduct the training with the aim to gain skills for empowering people with disabilities to live in the community.
Representatives from the Centre for Community Supported Service Provision Ozalj, Centre for Inclusive Work Activities, Centre for Community Supported Service Provision Osijek – „JA kao TI“, Centre for Inclusive Support Slavonski Brod, Association Latica, Centre for Inclusion and Social Services Bjelovar/Grubišno Polje and Association for Promoting Inclusion with its subsidiaries from Šibenik and Sisak participated in this first module (four-day) training.
Expert trainers involved in the training were:
- Patti Scott and David Hasbury, experts from US-based organization Neighbours International and
- Bojana Rozman, Ph.D., with more than 10 years of experience working with organizations on developing a person centered approach to service and care.
The training will be carried out in two modules and four workshops. Upon completion of training the participants will gain the skills for facilitating the process of person-centred planning using MAP’s and PATH planning tools.
