CAE Validus carried out the first of four workshops in professional training entitled “Person-Centered Planning – Creating a Better Future for People with Disabilities” on December 14th and 15th 2015.
Representatives from the Centre for Community Supported Service Provision Ozalj, Centre for Inclusive Work Activities, Centre for Community Supported Service Provision Osijek – „JA kao TI“, Centre for Inclusive Support Slavonski Brod, Association Latica, Centre for Inclusion and Social Services Bjelovar/Grubišno Polje and Association for Promoting Inclusion with its subsidiaries from Šibenik and Sisak participated in the two-day workshop.
The first workshop was based on practicing the roles in facilitating the process of person-centered planning using MAP’s planning tool. How to collaborate better with each other, think in a creative and positive way, how to be more focused on the person and what is important to him/her? These are just some of the questions that participants faced during the exercises. Through the exchange of different roles in the process, the participants had the opportunity to experience planning from all perspectives in order to be able to apply gained knowledge in their future work. The workshop was led by Bojana Rozman Ph.D.
