On 9th and 10th May 2018, COO Validus Director, Nataša Tomljenović, in cooperation with Jelena Soudil-Prokopec, mag.reh., held lectures for 2nd, 3rd and 4th grade students of Osijek School of Economics and Administration. Lectures were organized within the subject of “Human Rights” and discussed raising awareness of people with disabilities and the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.
During their schooling, most students, if there is no person with disabilities in the family, have no real information on the life of people with disabilities and their position in society. In a few years, by entering the labor market, some of them will be in the position to meet and communicate with people with invisible disabilities and we hope that these lectures provided them with basic information for quality work.
