On Tuesday, July 3rd 2018, CAE Validus started with the training program for Helpers to Persons with Intellectual Disabilities in Supported Housing for eight new employees of the Centre for Community-Based Service Provision Ozalj.
The training is one of the activities of the Centre’s “Independence Support Network” project, which is being carried out within the framework of the Call of the Ministry for Demographics, Family, Youth and Social Policy entitled “Supporting the Further Process of Deinstitutionalization and Transformation of Social Welfare Homes for People with Disabilities”. On the first day of the training participants had the opportunity to meet and listen to introductory lectures on the position of people with disabilities in society, inclusion and the right to life in the community.
They also had the opportunity to present their expectations regarding the education and new employment.
