On Tuesday 5th February 2019, activities on the “Disability Awareness Training for Police Employees” project continued. This time, the host of the lectures was the Police Department of Osijek-Baranja County. The active staff of police stations from Central and East Croatia had the opportunity to hear something more about communication with people with disabilities, especially people with intellectual disabilities, invisible disability and Croatian and international law regulations. The distinction of this workshop was the participation of Klareta Djipanov and Nenad Sekušak, who have been living in organized housing for several years and has shared his experiences of living in the community, but also the participation of police officers from six police stations in whose area the organized housing social service is being provided.
